Clean Mobility Consultancy builds EV charging infrastructure at Condominiums, Apartments, and Commercial, Properties.
EV Readiness (EVR) – the process of designing, planning, scheduling, and installing infrastructure upgrades and EV charging equipment for scalable expansion to meet growing demands for on-site electric vehicle charging.
EVR can be a complex process involving at the very least:
Clean Mobility Consultancy follows a 14-Step EV Readiness Process to create the EV charging system that works for You.
Enabling Local, Reliable Access to Level 2 EV Charging
Our comprehensive strategic approach takes into consideration every aspect of the property conditions, local jurisdiction development codes, property usage, and traffic flow at a site, solving problems before they start.
We pour our experience and knowledge about Level 2 EV charging systems into every consulting and installation project we undertake.
Each installation of an EV charging system contributes to the transition to zero-emissions transportation.
My first foray into running an alternative fuel business was in 2006 when my spouse and I started our own biodiesel company. We spent 6 years collecting used cooking oil, honing our production and purification system, developing operational processes to comply with federal and state safety regulations, manufacturing biodiesel purification systems, and filling sales orders.
I felt a deep sense of contribution knowing that every biodiesel purification system we sold would help reduce toxic vehicle emissions in a different part of the world.
Flash forward ten years. After raising two kids, taking care of my ill mother, and many many hours of community volunteer leadership, my passion for helping people drive on clean fuel still burned strong.
As a member of the Ann Arbor Energy Commission, I teamed up in 2018 with fellow clean transportation visionaries to explore possible policy options to stimulate EV adoption. I co-authored the EV Readiness Ordinance, a local law requiring new construction to include electric vehicle charging infrastructure. That legislation went into effect in 2021.
While conducting research for this law, I analyzed dozens of properties in the city and I recognized a significant need for property owners to have someone to guide and assist them to make their properties EV ready, to provide the ability for their tenants and guests to charge their electric vehicles. I saw a new opportunity for myself, to help people drive zero-emission vehicles! I became inspired to use my training and experience in project management, research, site assessment, community leadership, and sales to launch my Level 2 EV charging system business.
I pour my experience and knowledge about Level 2 EV charging systems into every consulting and installation project I undertake. Every high-quality installation of an EV charging system contributes to the success of the transition to zero-emissions transportation. I am excited to be part of this time in history.
